Alex (birth name Alexandra Estevez[1][2]) was a main character of Black Ink Crew. She was the receptionist of Black Ink before getting fired.

Season 1[]
Alex introduces herself in the first episode. She seems to be quite different amongst everybody else in the shop. While talking to a client about a tattoo they want, Alex disapproves of it, thinking that the tattoo would be something the client would regret later on in life. This causes an argument between her and Ceaser. Her aggressive side is shown when she flips over a table before storming out of the shop. She believes that hugging Ceaser and apologizing will fix any problems they have with each other. After comforting O'Shit, rumors start that they are dating. However, she reveals that she has feelings for Teddy, and they even kiss, in private, after the photo shoot Alex bailed on. She shows her jealous side when she catches Teddy flirting with a client. She is shown to be deceitful when she lies to Sassy and Dutchess about a photo shoot. After seeing Teddy alone with a supposed mixxxy, she reveals that they have had sexual relations. She starts a rumor that her drink was drugged after Dutchess found out that she tried to have sex with Ceaser. She is unapologetic towards O'Shit when he gets arrested.
