Welcome to Harlem, U.S.A. is the pilot episode, making it the first episode, overall.

Plot[]

The season is opened up with Puma introducing the shop. Scenes of the characters conversing and fighting are shown. Ceaser, Dutchess, O'Shit, Sassy, Puma, and Alex introduce themselves. The episode kicks off with Dutchess being filmed drawing up a tattoo for a client. When she goes to the back with the client, Ceaser comes in and starts flirting with Dutchess. She, figuratively, pushes him away.

Puma comes in missing a tooth, claiming that he ran into a parked car. O'Shit admits that he is skeptical about what really happened, assuming that he probably got into a fight.

A client, named Andrea, walks in and asks to be tattooed by the best artist. This causes Ceaser and O'Shit to have a draw-off, and it is shown that O'Shit is a better artist than Ceaser. Andrea chooses to go with O'Shit. She wants a tattoo of a feather, but she is very picky about how she wants it to look.

Alex talks with a client, and the client just happens to be Sky. She wants a tattoo of a white woman holding a blunt with her breasts showing. Alex believes that it is a dumb idea, prompting an argument between her and Ceaser about how she cannot control what a client gets a tattoo of. Alex flips a table over and storms out of the shop.

After talking to Dutchess about the argument, Alex reveals some of her past.

Sky is shown about to get a tattoo from Ceaser, and it is revealed that she ends up getting the tattoo Alex did not want her to get.

During a party, a mixxxy laments to Teddy about Dutchess not speaking to her when she walked in. This prompts an argument between the mixxxy and Dutchess.

The next morning, Ceaser arrives at the shop, only to realize that Alex was not present to open up.

Puma comes in, and he reveals that he and Quani and having a child.

Once Alex arrives, she looks a mess. Nonchalantly, she storms past everybody without speaking. Once she walks back to the lobby, she starts an argument.

One of O'Shit's clients come in, and he is not upset to know that O'Shit has not shown up for work, yet. He decides to wait it out.

While in the back, Alex indirectly apologizes to Ceaser about the argument. This prompts Sassy to call Ceaser soft.

Another client, looking for O'Shit, comes in. He shows a faded finger tattoo that is meant be a diamond, done by O'Shit. Ceaser decides to give him a free tattoo.

Teddy warns Ceaser that his employees are walking over him.

Dutchess comes into Ceaser's room, and flirts with him, starting the conversation off by asking about O'Shit.

Once O'Shit finally arrives, Ceaser argues with him about being late and careless.
